Parents of pupils at the school can access the school's online resources directly from the links below. If you experience any difficulties please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The school's Parent and Pupil online portal is called Firefly and provides a central resource with access to subject pages, latest news, upcoming events, clubs, pupils’ work and domestic information. Firefly provides you with a single point of information, which is accessible from anywhere. Only Newland House School parents have access to Firefly.
The school regularly communicates with parents via a service called ParentMail, which is a reliable email and text message communication system. Once you child starts at the school, you will receive a registration email asking you to create a ParentMail account.
Parents can subscribe to the calendar and view the calendar on their computer, iPhone or iPad. Once you have subscribed, changes to events and new events are automatically synced. Please follow the quick steps in the Subscribe to Calendar feature on the left of this page.
Parents' Evening Booking System
Parents will receive an invitation to access the booking system shortly before any planned parent/teacher evenings. When respoding parents will need to enter theirs and their child's details. It is important that you enter your child’s name in the same way as it appears on the school register – abbreviations or alternative names will not be recognised.
You will then receive an email confirmation with a link to enable you to book the slots you require with the relevant teachers.
Please refrain from booking more than one appointment per child with a subject teacher, as there are a limited number of slots.
