On 10th November 2016, four pupils went to Surbiton for their 8th annual Year 6 Maths Challenge. Having finished outside the top 3 for the past two editions of this event, this year's Mathematicians were determined to put in a strong performance. There were twelve very tough rounds to tackle in 45 minutes and some tremendous time management ensured our team correctly answered the final question with seconds to spare! When the results were announced after tea and refreshments, the team had scored an excellent 26 points out of a maximum of 30 and were awarded medals and trophies for finishing in 1st place out of 9 schools.
This was a tremendous performance, congratulations to the team.
